Ibero students give 'new eyes' to children with visual problems.

A couple of students from the Universidad Iberoamericana developed prototypes of smart garments that allow children with blindness or visual impairment to perceive their surroundings.

Ibero students design clothing with a motion sensor for blind children.

As part of a linking project between Ibero and Ilumina, Ceguera y Baja Vision, a rehabilitation and education center dependent on the Villar Lledias Foundation, IAP, the university students designed a prototype of clothing for children from four to six years old, which includes an ultrasonic sensor that can detect objects or people up to a distance of 50 meters.
